LETS chair Prof. Dr. Svenja Kranich and LETS PhD student Hanna Bruns, M.A. presented a talk at the 9th Biennial International Conference on the Linguistics of Contemporary English (BICLCE) between 15 and 17 September 2022 at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). Their talk is titled "Excuse me, sir or Hey guys. Changes in the use of generic nominal address terms in the 20th and 21st century" and is part of the Socio-cultural impact on language change (SILC) project.
