The 4th ‘Nachwuchstagung Englische Linguistik’ is specifically geared towards young researchers (at the PhD and Master level) in English linguistics at the Universities of Bonn, Giessen, and Würzburg. It is aimed at providing a platform for exchanging ideas and feedback for young academics of the three universities involved, but also – and not less importantly – to remind scholars at the beginning of their careers that they are not alone in their struggles for academic success. Topics range from sociolinguistics, translation studies all the way to the origins of applied linguistics, foreign language learning!
